Looped is an elegant and minimalist mobile game where you whirl around loops to get high scores and currency. It was developed using Unity in C# and is currently released for Android on the Google Play Store with around 250 downloads.
It was a two person project where a friend handled the art and animations while I handled the engineering. This included implementing:
- Splines for player movement on a path-based control scheme
- Object pooling for enemy spawning, particle effects, and power ups.
- UI and menu interaction
- SFX and music transitions
- Full Google Play Services integration
- In-app purchases
- Reward-based advertising
I also produced all the audio and designed a majority of the gameplay.
