Time Tofu is a survival based action-platformer where you shoot guns and control time. I developed it in Flash with ActionScript and published it on Newgrounds, where it got featured and frontpaged. Time Tofu was also the first game I ever published.
It was a two person project where a friend handled the art and animations while I handled the engineering. This included implementing:
- Enemy AI using raycasting, sensors, and collision filtering
- Custom platformer physics for reflex-based gameplay
- High scores and keybindings
- UI and menu interaction
- SFX and music transitions
I also produced all the audio and designed a majority of the gameplay.
